CHILDREN CENTER

Zeca and the older brother of Milton. They are both sweet boys well behaved and felt right at home with us as soon as they arrived. Although they look like normal healthy boys, their story is a difficult one. They come from Boane, and it was quite an adventure to arrive there with our car to pick them up. A neighbor had asked us to help because she saw that the boys were by themselves, sleeping in an old house, and eating what they found in the fields. Years ago their mother ran away, and a few years later the father also left them. They have never been to school. Now they're playing with new friends at the center and enjoying the home-cooked meals. We hope that they will feel safe here and at home. We try to be a family for them and pray that they will get to know Jesus as the One who will never abandon them!
